Speaking is an art.
And these small rules have helped me over the years.
âś… Tip 1: Use vivid, clear words. If you’re talking about birds, don’t just say “birds.”Say sparrows, crows, pigeons—anything that paints a picture.
👉 A clear description always wins.Don’t say “a boy asked a question.”Say “a boy with blue eyes and black hair raised his hand.”That one detail pulls your listener in.
✅ Tip 2: Use analogies. They make hard ideas easier to understand.Think of abstract concepts like dragons—scary and unclear. Now imagine a story that turns that dragon into something you can tame. That’s what analogies do.
✅ Tip 3: Know your audience.Don’t talk “above” them.Avoid too many big words or complex layers.Speak simply.Respect them.Deliver your message with care.
🎯 If this helped you speak better—even a little—drop a 👍.
