7 Ways to be Happy

Some cool ideas to be happy right now from the book The Happiness Equation.

But this is how I have felt using these techniques.

Three Walks

If you walk for 30 minutes for at least 3 days then you will feel great. Well, I can vouch for that, whenever I am physically active then I feel great. There is so much energy.

The 20-Minute Replay

I have been imagining how happy I had been when I first received the copy of a book I had written. That feeling was ecstatic. I keep repeating it in my mind. Surprisingly whenever I think about that happy moment my day gets better.

This step is to rewrite or at least think about the positive things in your life.

Random Acts of Kindness

There is nothing like helping others. Once I had given an old man some money as he came to me telling me that he had lost all his money and he wants to get home. Of course, I didn’t believe him then, but then even if he is going to cheat me it won’t make a difference. I don’t what happen to that man but I was feeling great all through the day.

A Complete Unplug

Most of the time I feel that I am addicted to social media. But a complete unplug happened accidentally when my mobile stopped working all of a sudden. At first, it was difficult but then I couldn’t believe how productive I was without it. Nowadays I usually do not use my mobile in the first hour after I wake up. I have noticed that I am more relaxed in the morning. In case you want to be a part of like-minded people who are determined to help others please join our Reddit group.

Hit Flow

When you are completely focused you will tend to complete all the work promptly. It is one of the best feelings. So hitting flow is basically to focus on the task at hand and work like crazy until it stops being like work.

Minute Meditations

It makes you focus on yourself. It is a way to slow things down. I pray and that is my kind of meditation, but evening focusing on your breath for 1 to 2 minutes would help greatly.

Five Gratitude’s

Be thankful for at least five things.

I am grateful for you my readers.

For my job.

My family and friends

And of course to you all for supporting this blog.

Happiness equation is a wonderful book.
