Still working...

Five months ago, I consciously added a section to my daily routine.

I called it #writing

I read books on writing.

Whatever I read I tried to implement in some kind of writing I do.

So here are three random things I learnt from these books(there are too many)

1) Vary Sentence length. It creates a hypnotic rhythm.

2) Use concerte words. For example avoid very. For “very good” you could say awesome, brilliant or any such words.

3) If you want to write a long sentence make sure to write the Subject (or the person performing the action right in the beginning of the sentence followed by a verb, and then add details by that way readers are not worried about the ending.

𝘌𝘹. 𝘙𝘦𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘢𝘱 𝘏𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘯, 𝘏𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘪’𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥, 𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘱𝘭𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘭𝘺 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘥. 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘑𝘦𝘢𝘯-𝘉𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘈𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘥. (𝘘𝘵𝘥 𝘪𝘯. 𝘞𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘰𝘰𝘭𝘴)

Notice Rebels and Seized. Yes. They did all that. Why does this sentence work? It is simple Subject and verb are introduced right in the beginning.

PS: I can help you write your novel, non-fiction work and of course your social media posts. DM today.
