There’s something underrated about being specific.
(And it’s more powerful than you think)
No one likes seeing:
📦 “Your parcel will arrive in 12 days.”
But this?
📦 “Your parcel will arrive on June 30th by 10 a.m.”
Much better.
Same goes for writing.
Don’t write:
→ “A boy walked away.”
Write:
→ “Sam walked away.”
Don’t write:
→ “A bird flew.”
Write:
→ “A sparrow flew.”
Why?
The more specific your words, the easier it is for the brain to picture it.
Which means…
More clarity.
More resonance.
More impact.
Clarity wins.
