One hack I find helpful when dealing with money.
– Do not see the numbers, but see the time you have to give up.
For instance, buying an iPhone looks easy.
But if you consider carefully, it’s almost three months’ salary for a mid-level IT dude.
3 months = iPhone (for IT dudes)
1 year or more = minimum wage earner.
Now think about it in reverse.
Can that iPhone give back that time?
Nope.
Whenever you have a desire to buy big material stuff. Think about the time implication.
If the thing you buy does not exact an interest in time, then go ahead.
Don’t feel guilty about buying it.
But when you know you have to spend another year slogging through the EMI.
It is probably not worth it.
